Highway 1 is epic from just north of Jenner all the way into SF. If you like narrow, twisty roads with HUGE shear cliff drops, you'll love it. It gorgeous, fun, and terrifying all at once.

Tomales Bay has a few awesome oyster companies that are great and more freshly paved twisty roads to play on.

It will take quite a bit longer to go take 1 the whole way, but if there is traffic on 101 it might actually be faster. Petaluma/Sonoma is pretty terrible sometimes.
