That lady.... Oi. Could not believe the level of attention hog she was going for.
Did I come off as super arrogant in the class sessions? I just wanted point-by's, that's all...

Oh I see you added stuff to your SIG now. Yes I remember your car! Fun times.
What a week(9 days).
After all was said and done Saturday, I was able to ride in both Moti's Blackbird Fabworx Creampuff and Ryan Passey's red turbo NA for a full session each, one lap in Deviate, as well as run 4 of my 5 hot lap sessions in 3 different cars. I drove a mazda crate motor'd na6, a basically stock MSM with 6uls and Blackbird's trial trunk/spoiler as well as the vvt swapped/Tein coil'd/225 RS3/9" red 90' that I helped build. All three Ohio cars, all three drove there and back on the trip that broke my car. On my first flying lap during my first session ever at Laguna, in a 112hp 1.6 car i'd never driven before I did a 1:58.xx and eventually worked down to a 1:53.3 in the MSM. Pretty happy with that. The vvt NA didn't rent a transponder but I think I might have been faster in it than the MSM just because of the easy-to-drive suspension/wheel tire setup. The MSM floating, diving and shifting 30 times every lap got pretty tiresome.
I did ~1500 miles in my miata, ~600 miles in a Ford C-Max rental(including 100+ miles up HWY 1 from Cambria to Monterey at sunset) and another ~800 in a Mazda2 rental.

The NA6 was Joe's car, I presume?
Glad things worked out.

How did that suspension feel compared to your xidas?
Joe's? No idea. I was too busy learning the track and dealing with my knees in my throat. We are the same height when we stand next to each other, but my legs must be 2-3 inches longer than his. No sliders under his seats. His is also on 17" wheels and has doorbars and welded in frame rail braces, strut braces and all kinds of trickery.
Darren's red vvt swapped na6 is a peach though. Its basically a 3-4 year outdated 949 formula. Mid range Tein's w/NB mounts, ginormo racing beat front, stock nb rear, 15x9s and 225s. I have a ton of seat time in it and that package feels great.

Anyone find any other event specific discounts?

I saw FM had discount cards flying all over the place, but every time I asked for one they were out and told me to check back later :(
I actually bought the Racing Beat PN 54103 swaybar off the display for about 30% under MSRP

Had I seen this, I might have actually come back with my truck and grabbed it. I have another project that may/may not need an engine swap and I've been trying to figure out what to do with it.
Damn internet, ya no definitely not serious lol, my co-driver did a nice 3rd to 2nd up shift at 8000rpm and put all the intake valves into the pistons, we swapped motors saturday afternoon and had this one on display for sunday.
I requested for C1 Sat, C Sun. Friday BBQ, no banquet.
I wish more people visited this section. There were a ton of people after the event that said they were there, but didn't realize we were meeting up :(
So how do we spread the word?

Well, we have over seven months to organize something... I know last year I had about 2 days notice before I was going.
Mary (the GF) will be in the same run groups as you Eo2K.
So perhaps a little MT area in the paddock?
