Seriously, listen to the man, I cannot stress this enough.

If you get there early, be aware of the other folks as they set up around our encampment and be prepared to ask them to shift. Last year we ended up in this stupid Y on the end of the row and it became impossible to get in and out. The organizers don't seem to put much stock in actual organization, so lets try to focus our Super MiataTurbo Autism Powers for good for once and get some ingress/egress clearance this year.

Lake bed?

I wonder if they mean the area literally around the lake?

Carlos?
I will be at the dinner Saturday night.

I also want to park in the paddock with all the cool guyth but I don't want to jam anyone in. I am happy to shuffle my car around, I can even park by some cheesy m.netter cars and listen to them wine.

Its pretty easy to just park a row over and bring a chair. But when we have 10+ cars all trying to do track day things it gets crowded.

Give me Ed +1 on paddock parking, my dad and I both have cars that will be doing track day things. though might not need my dad's car right there on Saturday.

I'll make sure my cousin parks in another area this year.

So to be completely 100% clear I should plan on:

a) parking rig+trailer in paddock Thursday night
b) dropping toolbox, camping gear, etc stuff at campsite Thursday night
c) Miata goes with me to campsite for snuggles
Is that accurate?

Yes, unless you want to leave the Miata at the paddock. I did, last year, IIRC.

It kinda depends on why you're towing. If it's because the Miata isn't streetable, then you probably want to leave it in the paddock with the trailer and drive the tow vehicle back to camp.

in4dinner. Maybe with a small child if you guys are capable of limiting your influence on an impressionable young mind.

So is the restaurant we are going to Elli's in Salinas? I have not seen an overt statement on that. I just saw that name on the menu screenshots and started googling.

You did not specify how exactly this influence should be limited, which was a mistake on your part

Yep, that's the plan unless someone comes up with something else.
