It seemed to open a bit before 9.

I refreshed right when my phone said 9 and it didn't go. Took a couple tries.

Every year they always have some sort of issue. I wish we could at least preregister our personal info, experience and car info prior to signing up for the actual hot laps.

put myself down for the waitlists on Saturday.

the waitlist sign up is on the registration page now.

Riding shotgun with you through turn 1 was one of the most frightening moments of my life

Has anyone actually received a confirmation that they got a registered spot or only a PayPal receipt?

Yep, I got an email confirmation at 9:02. I guess I was pretty quick on the draw, given my disappointment registering last year. The email subject was "Miata Reunion Hot Laps Confirmation".

I also got a registration confirmation email. I'm there both days in A. Or, at least, I'm there until the car breaks.

Booked general admission for Saturday. Will probably have an ugly eco-mustang in a hidden spot in the parking area

I need to get my EFR, MS3, and Gesso’s handiwork on an Exocet downpipe and exhaust installed and I’m in for a group tune!

Bad news, campers: The Grand Prix campground where we usually camp is going to be closed. We have to find spots in the Chaparral campground. Map here: https://www.weathertechraceway.com/s...ted_5-7-19.pdf

Which spots do you think we should reserve? At least now you can book online and don't have to call... but I tried calling to reserve and that's when I was told about the no grand prix camping. She said the website will probably let us book for grand prix but then we'll be bumped to chaparral - would rather just reserve the spots in chaparral and be done with it.

Whaaaaaat? Why?! At least we can reserve spots, but that's annoying. I liked stealing Aidan's spot on thursday night and waking up to a beautiful view of the track.

Maybe down here? Decently close to a bathroom, and we can group up around the bend. Also sucks cause that may kill our evening fires since we're so close to the guardshack. Not sure we were supposed to be having those or not lol

They said something about it being the off season and they close all campgrounds except Chaparral during the off season.

That area looks pretty decent, can see some picnic tables and fire pits on satellite view. That look good to everyone? @aidandj ?

Perhaps we should call and reverify. Wouldn't be the first time I've been given bum information over the phone...
