We did Tarpys a couple years back, was ok but pretty expensive for what you get imo. They probably could accommodate us, though.

Tarpy is a no go for us. $$$.

What about the place we went last time? (And the time before?) They had a giant table/room.

The one where George learned what a lady was...

It might be a tad too classy for the lot of us, but we could try being on our best behavior.

@BEAVIS +1 is coming

Dear my american friends, I'm coming to this shin-dig to check out all the cool miata happenings... All the way from Australia.

Flying out Wednesday, arrive in the Monterey area Thursday afternoon.

Being complete strangers, we'd love to tag along to any/all of these cool happenings and talk MX5's Miatas! (We'll be in some generic rental car though)

So uhh, see you there I suppose! Also please provide good weather, or give me advance warning so I can arrange to bring the sun with me if needed.

We know it fits big groups, seems like our best bet I think.

Wonder if @Savington still has that TSE black card...

So like 30? Damn, ha

Any restaurants that would take 30 people?
My friend David and I are confirmed for eats. I think I’ve managed to miss all the previous dinners for some reason so I feel like I’m due, this being the last year and all.

OK. I'll call Elli's and try to reserve for 30 people.

What time do you think? gotta leave plenty of time for the drive, and maybe for a few other people to get into town. 7:30?

The paddock closes by 6pm on Friday. How long does it take to get to the restaurant from the track? Maybe closer to 6:30-7:00?

People may want to stop by hotel/etc first, and I suspect there'll be a lot of traffic on 68 at 6PM on a Friday.

Glad to hear you're coming, Dan. Looking forward to it.

My reason for suggesting a later time is for people arriving later. But we can start earlier if need be. @aidandj and @Scaxx when do you guys think you'll be rolling in?

Later is better probably. What time does the paddock open?

I'd guess no later than 7, possibly earlier.

There's a group that already has the Ellis patio reserved from 5-8. We could get in at 8:30. What do you all think? Too late? I'm OK with it... Don't know where else we'd go.

8-830 is good. It's late but that lets people driving down make it.
