Bad Driving Pics and Videos Thread - Asshattery, Carnage, Stupidity
Well what I'm guessing from watching it a couple times. It's Nurburgring, the track is so huge that they don't have enough staff for yellow flag incidents. You don't see any track official until the incident occurs.
The Black Subaru was behind the camera car so even he didn't see a yellow flag.
The whole incident would have been avoided if the drivers who had stopped for the yellow hadn't done so mid-track and had pulled off to the side of the track. Or at least hadn't stopped at all and slowly went past the accident like the Subarus did after they wiped the **** out of their seats.

<edit>Other two camera views helped show what happened... but that third video had horrible camera view... was the camera trying to auto focus at different distances due to the changing view out the windshield? </edit>

Driving on the ring looks like it would be scary as hell. Not only is it a challenging track in its own right but you have a huge range of skill levels on the course at one time. That kind of environment creates situations like this where someone sees a yellow flag and responds in a very dangerous way almost causing a serious accident when the experienced drivers who are flying on the course have almost no time to correct.

With the second one, why am I seeing a video with "watch the video you are already trying to watch by clicking here" advertisement over the top? I am leery of clicking links like that.
