Smile First time drifting since turbo install
Finally made it to an event after having the car down for almost 8 months (tons of bullshit problems). The car felt great for only being street tuned at 10psi.
Engine spec list- 1.8 swap, sr20 .80ar t25, MS v2.3, Begi reroute, rx7 440cc injectors, ARP head studs and a Cometic HG

haha and I should hopefully have dyno numbers on Monday. Going to get it tuned to 14psi. I read that the turbo I have is a ticking time bomb over 15psi anyways

oh yeah. definitely. 14.99psi will be awesome, but 15.0001 will blow your engine all over the road

I'm gonna be tolerant of the ice-skating video and not comment on it.

If over 15psi will blow your ****, then why not just run 15psi and not a penny more?

Mainly because I don't want to deal with any headaches that could have been prevented otherwise. Why cut the turbo's life in half for a little extra horsepower when 10psi already works great for what I need? I figure at 14psi I'm staying in the "safe zone", so to speak.

Good question. I'd assume fenders or control arms from kids thinking they're SUPER DORIFUTO drift kings right before they slide into a curb.

Watched the video. Honestly that looks like it definitely takes some skill. I'd never prep a car for it, but it does look like fun. You'll always get hate here for drifting but the car looks like it was running strong. Make sure to post up dyno numbers after you get it tuned.
