Some pictures from a local cruise this past weekend. You'll see my car in there, black miata,

 

I know that I'm supposed to hate the translucent hood on the Camaro, but I can't help respecting the effort it must have taken to pull that off.

 

Very easy actually.

Setup camera on tripod. Take picture of car with hood closed. Open hood. Take another picture. Go in photoshop and put the closed hood picture on a level above the open hood picture. Select the hood and reduce the opacity of the level in the selection.

Some good pictures there. You certainly hang out with an eclectic group.

 

Pic 1 = Hood open
Pic 2 = Hood closed

Overlay pic 1 on pic 2 and adjust opacity. Look, you can even see his hood struts still in the pic =P

 

Not a fan of the excessive post-processing.

I do kinda like the HDR work on the silver Cobra in front of the store.

 

hardly joe, you just didn't see the prop rods and corners of the "up" hood.

the cobra HDR is cool. the rest just look silly. someone's color settings are brokes.

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of the pictures they took. I was doing more driving than anything.

Ultra saturation makes me think I'm on mushrooms.
