Wonder if anyone got hurt. Looks like it plowed right through spectators. n/m, actually watched it with sound. How do you get hit by a ******* car like that. MOVE. You have several seconds to just step to the side in case it does jump the barrier and fence. If you aren't watching the action, or can't react to people probably yelling as it was happening, you shouldn't be there.

The people next to me would have to be really fat, otherwise they are getting pushed the **** out of the way. Under ideal circumstances (was standing at the fence and saw it happening) you can bet your *** I could move a few feet to either side, even if I had to hurdle coolers and old people

You could easily be watching the racing action to the left or the right of that corner, and next thing you know, WOW there is a car in the sky tumbling towards me. (ive been that close, it in real time to know how it happens).
Your best chance of moving is being up front on the fence watching. Those spectators 15 feet back, hell, were probably partying, drinking not paying a lick of sence to the race.
Racetracks are noisy, distracting places. There is no possible way you can keep track of the motion of all those cars at all times. Those spectators are VERY lucky no one was seriously hurt. I can see a gravel trap coming to that corner, and spectator viewing area moved.

You clearly have not been a true spectator at a busy event enough times with enough off road action to know how quickly events conspire.

Jesus people, I even intended the original post to be half jokingly and everyone jumps at the chance to sound like they know more than I do about being a spectator at racing events. Sorry I said anything. I would have no chance, I would be crushed because I'm not competent enough to move out of my chair.

Quick, a car is hurtling towards you and you have a split chance to react.... what do you do..... what... do you do.. >> WE DIE
Sorry... just a mix of Speed with The Last Star fighter...
Thanks for posting this, saw it on Fox the other night and hadn't had a chance to search. Amazing no spectaters where squished.
