Looks like Caterpillar Yellow to me. Forklift or some other form of heavy equipment?

 

It looks like a compound twin turbo setup on a large diesel engine....that someone did a shitty job spray painting yellow.

 

That's how diesel guys do. It's like painting a 240sx flat black. It's supposed to be a statement about how they're more concerned with performance than appearance.

 

which is obviously not the case, because they spent the time to paint it...

 

I was thinking it was faefloras twin who likes yellow instead or purple.

 

Looks like a CAT C15 in a Kenworth W900 or Peterbilt 389. I think an EPA04 emissions. Just my educated guess.

 

And only 35#! At what rpm? 1800?

 

I work in a large repair shop and we service semis on one side and light trucks and cars on the other. I work on the latter and I have no idea what type of truck this is. They had the hood up and it caught my eye so I snapped a pic.

The dude in the pic is the driver.
