I dont know if Will is a Miata guy but he has had several miata folk on his pod cast available for free on Itunes -

Yeah he has alot of cool stuff going on, it was interesting to hear he is looking at making a kit to put a VG motor in the miata....a friend of mine has a spare 3.5 from a 350Z...hmmmm

 

Corky is too good to waste all his time on Miatas, he should be making Frankenstein swaps.

Hey Will, I've enjoyed your shows. You've mentioned more than once that you've never been in a Miata. You REALLY, no R E A L L Y need to get a ride in a modded one. Where are you located? Maybe someone from this forum can learn ya' some first hand turbo Miata goodness.

@chriscar, thanks for the feedback. i honestly have not and its one of my favorite cars. im in maryland and ive seen a few tuned examples and ive never asked at the autox at fedex field to get a ridealong for fear of upsetting their balance with my heft. but if i ever have the money the miata is right at the top of the list for my first project car. i have had a ton of fun doing the research and getting more sides of the story. i also interviewed derrick ambrose over at corksport and that was fun as well. id like to get the guys over at flying miata but i havent heard back from them. thanks for you support and hit me on twitter @willscarcast if you guys want to keep up with me. there is also a facebook page.

 

Hi Will, where in MD are you? I'd be glad to give you a ride. We have a decent collection of turbo and swapped miatas in the area along with the daddy of megasquirt. There is an upcoming meet/dyno day this spring in MD- you should come by!

 

I agree, come out to the dyno day, we'll show you a good time.

 

BTW, I heard your comment about a 2JZ motor in a Miata.
