Damn, these are almost perfectly balanced (within .5g) out of the box!

They are quite nice. I rocked them primarily on maintained trail runs.

Finished my jig and balanced the rods tonight. Practiced on a few stock rods before getting to the new ones. Seemed to work well, but I will still be testing them against my machinists rod balancer next time I go out there.

Brought the rods and pistons to the machine shop today. Everything balanced out dead nuts. The machinist was dumbfounded that I achieved such accuracy with some home built jigs and an $11 scale from Harbor Freight. I could tell he was in shock when he disclosed how much his scale system and components cost him.

Felt pretty good about that, thought I would share.
