Newbie seeking path of knowledge
Hey guys, I am new to cars (just got my P plates this year) and the Miata.
I am currently driving a family car and am saving to get a 1.8l NA Miata as it is within my reach.
Just want to get some pointers on what to read up first and also the best way to improve my own motoring DIY skills.
Cheers,
Tyreshredder (btw my username is for jokes only not my motoring objective )

Then for the next four years you have these rules applied to you:
you can't drive :
A vehicle that:
has an engine with eight cylinders or more, or
has an engine that is turbocharged or supercharged (except those listed in the probationary vehicle database). There are also some lower powered turbocharged or supercharged vehicles which have been exempted and can be operated by a probationary driver who has been given an exemption by VicRoads. Refer to lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicles and the probationary vehicle database for more information
has an engine that has been modified to increase the vehicle's performance (other than a modification made by the manufacturer in the course of the manufacture of the vehicle, or
a nominated high performance six cylinder engine (refer to the probationary vehicle database).

Cant ride a bike over 250cc, except for some exceptions.
S2000 is on the ban list as far as I know.
OP: Have a look here: http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopi...7747&start=465
This is a recent build of mine on a local forum, If you read a few pages back you would see that I fabricated the manifold, 3" dump pipe, 3"exhaust etc et.
This forum is much better in every way except that there arent a lot of aussies here.
