Talking De-Newbing: 94 Miata turbo and more

1. Intro
Hello everyone.

My name is Alexi. I'm 19, living in Miami. Was born in Cuba.
Anyways I purchased a 1994 M Edition Mazda Miata back in May 2017 for $1400, First car I've ever bought. Sitting on 16x7.5 Kosei K1 Wheels 205/45/16 all around.
Racing beat Type 2 bumper
Bumper Cut and Borla exhaust poking out

Super unmolested engine bay
Only engine Mods are This Racing Beat intake and OBX Racing headers paired with a High Flow Cat Borla Exhaust.
Other Mods are Tockico suspension, and drilled and slotted brakes. Shifter Rebuild with 5x Racing Brass Bushing. Running 12 degrees of timing. It has a Torsen too, but do not know what ratio Brake Dust Squad like Greg Peters

2. Turbo Build

Anyways I need some advice with my build and that is why I am here.
The turbo build so far:
MS3X with AIT sensor - $500
AEM X Series Wideband - $170
Auto Meter Boost Gauge - $5
Mishimoto Intercooler - $100
Ogura ORC 250 Clutch & 10lbs flywheel - $300 From popkorn10 here in this forum
IHI VJ20 Turbo and Manifold off a JDM Mazda Protege - $100
Deciding between these two
Unknown Garret Turbo, looks like a truck one - FREE

IHI VJ20 turbo would need a custom inlet adapter, and a downpipe because of its unusual flange.
The Garret is bigger than the IHI. But would need a manifold and downpipe, both flanges are uncommon bc of their original applications. It might also need a rebuild, I found this turbo inside a barrel at a local scrapyard, and since I know the owner he let me have it for free.
Would I be better off buying a set with the mani, turbo & downpipe?

3. Plans

I am doing this slow because I don't have the money. Finding quality stuff but at a killer price
Ls2 D585 truck coils. SADFab mounting bracket if possible
Walbro 190 lb/h HP fuel pump
Injectors? I want to get them from another car instead of buying some aftermarket ones (NEED RECOMMENDATIONS).
GM Flex Fuel Sensor. Need that corn...
AC & PS DELETE
De-power the Steering Rack and weld the pinion
Full 2.5" in intercooler piping
Greddy Knock off blow off valve ( got this idea from the Broke & Boosted build)
Mishimoto Radiator
DIY Coolant re-route, cuz they too spensive
I am gonna keep the engine stock for now. However, I would like to know some things I can do to it that would help it hold more power without building the thing.

4. Advice needed

I need advice on oil/water lines and fittings, tuning the megasquirt.
Power Limits???
Is all this custom turbo stuff worth the trouble?
I cannot think of anything else right now.

PM Me If you are willing to sell me any of the parts I am Missing.

Either one of those turbos will be more expensive in the long run, than a proper 2560.

don't cheap out on injectors. If you can't afford Flow force, then....

No, a bunch of custom stuff for a retarded turbo is not worth the trouble.

if I were you, I would be seriously looking at building a mean natural aspirated car.

Your cheapest and easiest path to what you want, is an MK turbo kit.

Right, right. Learn to tune first.

MKT exhaust comes with a turbo, which you don't have. Seems like a win win.
