I've been on here for awhile, but mostly lurked in the SC forum. A millenial friend of mine that uses things like VenMo to publicly share his spending habits, and is now dating a hot girl with 500k youtube followers that he met on Twitch, told me this **** is good form.

I've owned the same NB Miata for 18 years. The very little I know about cars comes from this one only. Approaching "turn to the left and cough" age, this is my midlife crisis, and I've decided to learn about ECU tuning before I can't.

Highlights:
1999 Miata
Intercooled MP62 at 11 psi on Powercard
Worn Tein Flex, saving for something else.
Ready for more boost, rods and forged pistons.

What you should expect from me - a lot of SMH, due to limitations:
- Personal preference: this is my only car. I can be a hoarder, so I need to keep it in check.
- CARBofornia... All assumptions and limitations implied.
- Unfortunately, I have the 99 with precat. Turbos out of the question.
- Burning way too much money on a mediocre power build. I know, but I'm just in a phase of tinkering, rather than a specific power goal with one car.

Here is my "Tinder" photo of the car 2% of the time (clean), me getting lapped in last place at Streets of Willow, and my cat judging me for having to replace my leaky Supertech Valve Stem Seals in the garage.

My goal is mostly to learn about Megasquirt. I didn't do a lot of pre-reading. More like screw it, I'm doing it. So if I make a build thread you can refer all other newbs to it for lessons learned.

 

Cat definitely looks disinterested among what in Florida would be hurricane supplies.
