Default Hello Everybody! (See Dr. Nick)

The time has finally come. I have always wanted one. Forget what my friends will say. I just purchased a 1996 miata.

They say "Don't meet your hero's". Forget that mess! My miata is everything I thought it would be.

So here is the list of improvements.

15x8 Enkei RPF1s with 205/50/15 Yokohama S-drive tires

FM V-Maxx XXtreme Stage 2 Track Pack coilover suspension kit with 504 lb/in front and 336 lb/in rear springs

1.0" front and 0.625" rear swaybars

Hard Dog M1 roll bar with double diagonals and padded cover

Dual headlamp system by Cobalt

Full polyurethane bushing kit

Slotted rotors and Porterfield R4S pads

Braided stainless steel brake line kit

Redline brake, transmission, and differential fluid

Aftermarket driveshaft with replaceable U-joints.

I have also aquired MS PNP2, inovate Lc-2 wideband Garrett 2560r turbo, and 460cc injectors.

I look forward to all the help I will get on this site.

Thank you in advance.

What do your friends say? What does "don't meet your hero's" mean?
Looks like you're off to a good start, car looks good.

It means things never turn out to be as good as you imagined them. Like the first time you drive an 80s vintage 911 after having a poster of it on your wall as a child. Or when you meet Erik Estrada in person and not only is he amazingly short, he's also hawking condos in LA.

Anyway. ..

Hi, Dr Nick!

Just installed mspnp2, lc-2, and rx7 red tops. Took me two beers and three minutes, won't fire. Could you guys tell me everything I need to do to make all the horse powers? Maybe send me your tunes?

Try another beer first. Three is the minimum, unless you're drinking some lisp inducing hipster **** like PBR.

Don't use someone else's tune.

When you say won't fire, I assume you mean it's cranking? Check the basics like fuel, spark and timing belt alignment.

Why you still use MAF?

Lol "hipster ****". I will try the three beer mod tonight. All dumb pictures and jokes aside, I have been getting the car ready to start my turbo install adventure. My fm kit sans electrics and turbo, clutch kit, and wide band Guage is on the way. So far I have fixed the many oil leaks the car came with, cas, cam seals, and front crank. I assume the rear main is leaking to some degree and will change that when I do the clutch.

I have been spending my spare time reading all the super valuable information on this site. Thank you everyone for the time and effort you all have put in here.

Another question. I want to document my build here on the forum. What's proper edict? To start here in the meet and greet and get moved over later? Or start over in the build thread?
