I'm Ron. I'm new to this forum. Somewhat not new to Miata's. Honda got bored and Miata is a lot fun. I'm looking to meet some locals and help out on a turbo install sometimes soon.

2 pizzas on the way. Anyway, this is my 2nd Miata. I had a 99 and didnt really like the body style of it. So I sold it and bought this one. It was bone stock when I got it though.

 

How long you been in C'ville? That's where I'm from, which 99 was yours, I know/knew pretty much every miata in town whether I knew the owner or not. I had the two white turbo NA's and the black turbo NA before I enlisted.

I'll be back in town in July, I'll be stealing your car and breaking it in properly for the two weeks I'm there since I won't have my own, lol.

 

I've been in Charlottesville for about 8 years now. It was a black NB with gold xxr wannabe wheels on it. I'll dig up some pictures of my old Miata. Maybe you can guide me on turbo set up since you are local?

 

Was local. I'm Army now living in Germany. There's not much Miata action going on in the area as I'm sure you know. I can point you to a few good buddies that know there way around them though.

Out of curiosity, how old are you?

 

I just keep seeing this black mint na with bronze wheels and a roll bar. Trying to get a ahold of him every time I see him around. It's very nice Miata. I'm going to be 23 soon.

 

That may be my old car :( . I'm 21, we probably know each other somehow or another. You actually in town or what? What did you drive before the NB?

 

Yeah I live in town somewhat, over at Ivy area on route 250. I used to be into Hondas and got tired of them.
