Let me start off with the most important thing first, I have a 95m, in relatively good condition. It has 177k on the clock. When I got it it was mostly stock. The past owner bought it from did not realize what he had. I had to clean it up missing one of the BBS rims, interior needed tlc. Engine need leaks sealed up. Once I got all of that done I added double din pioneer radio replaced my rear aluminum deck with 1/2" plywood then added some 3way 6x9's, it actually sounds pretty good, I also added a il console. I love the drink holders, although a bit narrow, and the love the bigger storage area. Now on to the important stuff I just acquired a Garrett m27 turbo off of Craigslist. I have never thought of my self as a Miata builder, I figured with this one I was just going to Cruze with it. I have built and swapped alot of engines in s10's including a 350 swap. I have a Yamaha sport bike project right now, that is needing to be finished. But when I saw this turbo on Craiglist I caught the fever. I paid $400 for the turbo, shaft is tight and seems to be in good condition. I also got a intercooler and a 1.6 cast manifold. I plan on selling the intercooler and manifold make back a little money. I just picked up a eBay cast iron 1.8 manifold, some glowshift gauges to supplement the stock dummy gauges and will be placing them in a apillar 3 pod. I also will be picking up the matching wideband and boost gauges to put in the center vent locations. I will start a build thread and add pictures. Looking forward to all the knowledge here, as I really know nothing about turbo's.
