PandaFB

Hi All, I'm Sean from New Jersey. Been working on Rx-7's for the last 20 years (mostly FB/first gens, but other stuff too). I am a moderator over on Rx7club (my username is 82transam on there) and have done a ton of custom fab work on my Fb's - FC subframe swaps, FC engine swaps run on Haltechs and more recently an Rx8 engine swap to mix things up. A few years ago I also did a BP18 swap on a drift Rx7 I had built, but later sold the engine and went back to a rotary.

My reason for joining on here is that recently I got the itch to do something new with my Fb's. The next logical step (is any of this logical??) for me was to ditch the FC subframe I've been running, and the live axle rear and go with Miata subframes front and rear. It's something I've wanted to do for years but never pulled the trigger on. A few weeks ago I bought a clean set of NB subframes and will be starting fab work soon. Not sure if I will be keeping that car rotary or go with the K24 I also bought (yes I might be a bit crazy), but we will see how it goes.

There is a ton of good info on here so I figured it made sense to join in!

Interesting project. I've thought about it a few times and a few here have had to hear about it lol. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.
