Default New Wisconsin turbo miata owner

Hi, my name is Philip and I am 26 owned 27 cars so far. Currently DD Fiesta ST and a 2013 Honda CRF250L.
First time posting been looking at the forum for a couple of years. Just bought a turbo miata that doesn't run good, turbo leaks oil, leaks boost running like 4 psi right now, and straight piped exhaust leaks...
Has first gen megasquirt pnp with a "tune" from 4 years ago and a/f gauge that is spliced together which fell apart and won't turn on. Needs major cleaning...
Looking through so many different threads trying to find fixes for many problems with the car. Including the 10 amp ST fuse was left in. Which I guess burns out a transistor in the megasquirt?
I have many questions but I am sure the answers are somewhere on the forum.

It's kinda of steaming pile of garage right now. No soft top, roll bar has two bolts holding it in, oil feed and drain are leaking, can't rev past 4K without breaking up, also under 2K rpm likes to buck.
Wiring for the fans is horrible but got the A/F gauge working but still sorting out problems. Also had a nice mouse friend in the glove box but didn't get a picture.

I saw this one floating around craigslist. Was wondering why it was posted up so cheap. Good luck finding the issues and getting it going.

I think I saw that one, too. No photos of the engine bay in the ad if I remember correctly, wonder why

Welcome, WI BRG Turbo brother!

Its a work in progress to say the least. The boost controller is in an odd spot. Did I mention it's filthy!

That sure is all sorts of special. But those also present deals... that are worth fixing to those with the skills. Make it live again

I wonder if there is a post about the weird things found in miata fenders. I found a 1/2 inch Huskey wrench and a razor blade.

A ratcheting one too which still works!

Flushed the brakes and clutch lines out.

When I bought it I thought the spark plug gap was small so I measured it to be .018 so changed them out and gapped them to .030
Now it will actually go over 4000 rpm which I took it around the block to look at the AFR gauge. Idles at like 12.0 but never got on it cause boost leaks and exhaust leaking from the manifold.

Wow. This is a special project. Prediction: slow and steady progress interspersed with major setbacks. Then, ALOFIT: VVT, TSE EFR, MS3, 6UL, etc.
