I have a 1990 with a 1994 1.8 swapped in I retained the 1.6 ecu and wiring harness what MSPNP do I need or would one have to be build, I have a 94-95 MSPNP gen 1 but not sure if it will work

 

<p>Search is your friend. But you want a 90-93 megasquirt. Get Reverant to build you one.</p>

 

I have searched just couldn't find anything, is there a way to mod the correct megasquirt pnp that o have where it'll work with the 1.6 harness

 

You'd have to swap the adapter board for one from a '90-'93 MSPNP. The MSPNP Gen 1 hardware has been discontinued, though, so this would only work if you found the parts used.

Either that, or repin the harness to '94-'95 specs.

 

<p>It would techincally work as is, but you wouldnt be able to input the TPS if you ever upgraded to a vTPS,&nbsp;you could never control the cooling fan which is okay because of the thermoswitch, and the fuel pump would have to be activated alternatively (like jumping in diagnostics box or keeping AFM attached).</p>
