I have been working all the bugs out. Fixed a small power steering leak. Replaced a shitty 90* water fitting at the turbo with a proper banjo bolt. Had a REALLY bad problem with it burning oil in the turbo, I though I was going to have re-plumb the oil return, even though it looked ok. Turns out it was a shitty PCV valves (actually 2). Now I am just VTA on both sides and all the smoke is gone. Must have been boosting right into my oil LOL.

I was going to run this spark table, i took a few members spark tables here and took a few points out and smoothed it but it ended up looking a lot like the DIYPNP table with about 5 degrees added everywhere. Is this too aggressive or will I be ok for low boost (max 8psi)? I just need to do a little more shakedown testing before I can get it up on the dyno and get it tuned properly. I am doing a boost leak test tomorrow, and installing my new wastegate actuator that should work with the EBC solenoid.

atmo is 84kpa here.

that's a decent map considering. but more timing at idle than is really needed.

i got it dyno tuned today! 220whp/200wtq @13psi. 91oct and straight water injection. My tuner is great, he normally works on big power cars like supras and turbo vettes and is very well known here. He talked me out of a big numbers tune in favor of a safe reliable one. We tried some pulls with more advanced timing and more boost but were only gaining like 5whp and he said its not worth it to run on the ragged edge on a street car. Hit 230whp at 15psi, then backed off a little. Overall I'm happy with how the build turned out, the car sounds really nice, not too loud and absolutely no rasp in the exhaust. Wastegate noises and BOV sound just the way I like them.

He did 2 other miatas in the past month and they only made like 180whp, but they were 1.6s with T25 turbos.
