Default 1991 VVT Swap No Start/Crank

I've finally "finished" swapping a VVT engine into my 91 Miata, and I kept all the donor engine's sensors, including the cam and crank sensors, as well as the vvt solenoid. I also put in a NB1 manifold with VICS in it, so I have the solenoid for that wired in as well. I'm running this on an MSLabs MS3 Basic. The problem, however, is the car won't start.

I've kept the VVT coils, and I recently found out the wiring diagram I followed had the connector trigger/power wiring reversed on it, so I had to reverse it and coils now fire in testing mode. I wired it up for sequential injection and all the injectors are firing in testing mode.

For some reason, when I pulse the tach output in testing mode, my RPM gauge doesn't move. I tried putting the signal into an oscilloscope, which read a really weak pulse wave (the frequency changes if I mess with the pulse wave frequency on tunerstudio) but the max amplitude is around 20mV, which seems way too low to me. Would this have anything to do with the car not starting?

When I was able to run a successful composite log, I saw that it was giving me an error graph that was the shape of the cam signal, so I figured I had to reverse the power and ground wires for the cam sensor. However, I haven't been able to verify that that fixed it, which brings me to...

I'm having a really hard time getting the composite logger on tunerstudio to work. I click on the checkbox to save to a file first, give the file a name, hit start, crank for 20 seconds only for it to not show anything, and then hit stop. When I look at the raw data tab on the composite logger, it says "No data received from controller" or something along those lines. I got it to work once after I kept trying, but I have no idea how I did it and it hasn't worked since.

Tunerstudio says "RPM not synced" and I don't see any updates saying the car is cranking when I try to start. Even though my coils work now, I'm not getting any spark still when I try to crank the engine, which I verified by using a timing light.

What else do you guys have for me that I could try?
