Boost Control Not Functioning MSPNP2 9093
So background, I've had 3 megasquirted miatas, 94 (mspnp2) ,95 (mspnp3), and now a 90(mspnp2). First two my EBC worked like a charm on open loop. First car I sold, second I ran into a pole (RIP fastback). That aside I have done this before yet this 1990 is giving me hell.
Setup
MSPNP2
DIY Mac 3 port
right port flow going in, center port going out. This is what the controller allows to flow with 0 power in case of a failure in wiring.
12v ignition coming from blue plug on driver side of bay (confirmed)
second wire going to pin 7 on the megasquirt options port
Firstly, when I ground the second wire it clicks the boost controller over to vent out the left port, perfect right?
Second when I check it I am getting 12 v out of the second wire when the car is on (is this good?)
Settings in boost control are as follows,
Boost Control Enabled - On
Solenoid Frequency - 19.5Hz
Control Interval - 10ms
Boost Controler Pin - BOOST
Output Polarity - Both normal and inverted tested
Algorithm - Open-Loop
I have tested by blowing through the controller and setting the map to 100 / 50 / 0 all do not change the boost controller orientation. Inverted and Normal both tested.
I read online to enable the BOOST pin in Programmable On/Off Outputs but when I do this I get a configuration error and my MS will not connect to the controller until I un enable it. Is this the issue? Inside the port settings it is as below
----- Port Settings
Power On Value - Off
Active Value - Off
-----Active Conditions
Output channel - seconds Threshold 0 Hysteresis 0
No additional Condition - Seconds 0 0
The MSPNP2 is straight from DIYs site
Anything stick out to you guys before I rip it open and check for burnt / missing jumpers

I have this exact problem. I ran my EBC (the old version from DIY) before with no issues. Now, after a couple rebuilds and a wire tuck, it's not working properly at all. My turbo setup has changed too, from external wastegate to internal, both manifolds... Still wondering about the on/off port settings, errors... even my tachout changed somehow and won't run the tach all. I worked before and is run from tach pin on the options connector.

If you have an IO pin mapped in a built in function (boost control), enabling the same pin in programmable IO will result in a conflict. You can't have two functions assigned to the same pin at the same time.
