Trying to find which output triggers the CEL for sanity check and possible shift light. Been searching all morning for one little answer but can't find it!

it's on your alternator control screen. D16 is controlling it.

no one else would ever know this answer. Is it not working correctly?

 

D16 is for alternator warning lamp, that seems to be working correctly.

I'm looking for the check engine light output, which I don't see.

 

ohhh. duh, nothing--nothing is attached to the CEL.

 

Interesting. Looks like the CEL is grounded at pin 1E (wht/blue) at the pcm connector according to this wiring diagram I'm looking at. Any reason it's not connected to one of the outputs?

Also, I pm'd you last night about something related to LC.

 

no more outputs on the ms3x left and ive never, ever, once utilized it.

the whole warning system was never available in firmware before, so that's new to me actually.


correction: i forgot about nitro 1 and 2.
