I've built a diypnp for my 2000 miata. I've set up A/C exactly per diyautotune's instructions. Every time I look at the transistor for input 1 its blown. I've replaced it twice. Any idea where i should go from here?
and you removed r14 or whatever?
I like to have the MS control the a/c activation and let the MS idle up, so I always take input 1 OUT to PE1.
then I run ALD or WLD to 1S and 1I.

if youre blowing transistors then you have something wired incorrectly.
it's a very simple circuit:
when you turn the a/c on it sends a ground to the input circuit, that in turn sends a ground back out to 1S and 1L--activating the a/c fan and a/c compressor relays.
I'd reach out to DIYAUTOTUNE for better advice.

So I started the car with the a/c inputs and outputs now going through input 2 circuit. I cut out the 2.2k resistor. Turned the A/C on and nothing happened. Didn't hear the click of the a/c relay and the transistor for input 2 is just fine. I'll resolder the connections to make sure they are good, but to me they look good.
