Hey guys,

Im trying to take a composite log on my car (crank no start) to check for cam/crank signals. For some reason I am not seeing any data or data traces. Logs show 0 kb.

My procedure is as follows:
1. Start log
2. crank for 5sec
3. stop log
4. click file, save log as "xyz"

What am I missing?

Edit: It might be worth noting that the ECU is on firmware 1.3.4. So there might be an alignment issue here between TS and MS. However, when I try to update the firmware, it asks for files that don't exist.

clicking save to file first doesnt help. still no data.

 

update, I replaced the cam/crank sensors and still not starting. I do hear some starter kickback, so maybe there is an ignition timing issue while cranking?

Edit: I tried loading the basemap, adjusting req fuel for the injectors, and no luck there either.
