Default What happened to the GPIO?

This is (was?) the General Purpose I/O board for MSII. It's the main reason I went w/ the MSII two years ago and it's been in a constant state of "almost done" ever since. It looked good the early part of this year; an early but mostly complete version of the code was done and several prototype boards were released to beta testers but then nothing. There haven't been any updates to GPIO boards since April.

Very cool piece of hardware if anyone's not familiar with it. It connects to the MSII via CAN so it knows everything MSII does (RPM, MAP, injector PW, etc). It has 4 VR inputs, so it could be used to monitor individual wheel speed on cars with ABS axles, and additional PWM outputs to control things like water injection.

BTW, I'm posting here instead of the GPIO form because the last few posts there were asking for updates and they didn't get any response. Also, I'm just feeling out to see if anyone else here was interested in this.

Here's the link to the board:

Here's the official site:

Interesting. Reading over the schematics it looks like it has additional ignition driver circuits. Sequential COP?

They moved the message boards around. The latest updates are here:

It's still alive. All the updates are in the Megashift thread. I had been skipping over that. They're working on the BOM right now.

Seriously, nobody else is interested in this? With just baro and knock, I'm out of inputs.

I was interested. Someone else was going to build a really basic one that used an ms2 card and had less features. Bruce vetoed it and I started DIYEFI.org, that was the final straw for me. 9 months ago now that that happened and still no GPIO... That other individual would have had them out by now for sure. Poor form on Bruce's part IMO.

Fred.

We are, of course, although I suspect the most common application is going to be automatic transmission control.
