The bomb in all off this is that I will propably develop a dedicated Megasquirt datalogger in the process (connect to serial port, press button, logging to MLV-style log starts). I will need to datalog everything from the MS and the MTS chain in a single stream before displaying on the LCD, so this will be fun.

Thanks for the kudos Richy. The how to is somewhat of a tricky thing as the entire concept will revolve around my specific settings and needs.

Thanks guys. Right now, I'm developing a SSI-24, that would be like an SSI-4 but with 24 inputs (8 analog 0-5V, 16 on/off) so that I can grab everything I need from my sensors (see sig). After that, the display is up next.

Keep up the good work, Jim!!!!
Man what I'd give for something like the MOTEC displace in place of my factory gauge cluster....
Yours scaled up would look just as good!

FYI, my intention is to have this big LCD in the middle (where the tach and the speedo is), with two smaller LCDs (one on each side of the main LCD) where the fuel and water temperature gauges are.
