Default DIYPNP, Bit 7 and erratic Inj PW

I have installed a diy turbo setup on my 1.6l mx5.

The car is running well and I am in the process of tuning things.

I've noticed in the logs that under a WOT run through the rpm range, the injector PW will jump up or down by approximately 1ms (say from 12.5ms to 13.5ms). The Gve remains relatively smooth which I understand is the value taken from the fuel VE table?

I have also noted that the bit7 and bit8 indicators are activated when this happens.

From researching the forums it seems that bit7 indicates MAPdot accel enrichment. I'm a bit confused though because:

1) the MAP is pretty constant
2) the Accel indicator isn't lighting (at all)
3) this is happening above 5000rpm which is my high RPM threshold

Could it be that I am incorrect in associating bit7 (and bit8?) with AE?

Is there anything else that I need to consider that could be causing the abrupt changes in PW?

my AE settings are
Low/High thresholds 2500/5000
MAPdot threshold 120
0% TPS driven

Yes, bit 7 and 8 indicate MAP based AE (accel and decel respectively).

Have you checked gEGO?

doh, just noticed that I was viewing TPSdot in my log not MAPdot, under WOT the MAPdot looks like a saw.

The MAP trace looks relatively steady, but MAPdot is reading +/-200. There's one section where MAP is an almost constant 160kPa +/-1 and the MAPdot trace is reading ~+160-200 constantly

I'll try experimenting with the AE and noise filtering settings.

Ego correction is disabled, was planning to look at this once I'm happier with everything else.

I tee'd off the FPR line along with my boost gauge.

Thing is, if the high threshold for AE is 5000rpm, then as I understand it, AE should be having zero effect over 5000rpm meaning the jumps in PW must be caused by something else?
