Default dumb questions. breaking in new engine with base tune

Hi guys. I'm new to all of this. I just got the engine running (vvt into 95). It's a rebuilt motor oem spec and the rings needs to be seated. Running tunerstudio and rev ms3 basic. How do you guys break in the motor with the base map?

Drive it, but make sure it's not too rich. Could hurt the rings chance at a good seat by washing the walls.

Wait have you never ran the MS3 before on the car? If not then I would put back in the stock ECU and CAS and break in the motor with that. Simply because trying to get an MS running correctly and breaking in the motor at the same time can cause headaches if there are issues.

Also do the Rev MS3 basic's support vvt?

All the Basic MS3s support VVT.
