its under codebase options and outputs under basic settings.

tapping the ground to the frame (or ground) will cause the solenoid to close, you'll hear it click. i wanna make sure it's working.

I've never really paid attention to that green highlighted box, so i cant tell you if it should light. the car will have to be on however, because it activates at a minimum of 100RPM.

the wiring should be good. the only thing I can think of is maybe a MICA insulator needs to be installed under the FET itself. I have not confirmed if this is the case however.

but confirm the solenoid itself does work, then we know where to start going from there.

read my post i just posted in this section. i think i need you to buy a little insulator and put it under the transistor that runs the solenoid.

pick up a MICA insulator at radio shack, and then give me a call when you have a chance and ill walk you through what you'll need to do.

pm your email and ill send my number.

yeah you gotta open it up. I posted about it.

you'll ahve to open the MS up and unscrew the FET, then put the insulator inplace and screw the FET back in place on top of it.

shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. you need a small pair of pliers and a screwdriver.

It's easy. Remove the screws from the case. Remove the screw from the FET. Coat mica with thermal paste(should be enough on the fet that you can use what you have. Install under FET making sure it's not contacting the leads of the FET itself

edit: too bad i type slow sometimes
