Default F*%KING Computers!!!!

I am losing my god damn lunch with this ****!!

I was just trying to get up and running with my MS now that the LC-1 is in only to find the ground is no good (of course) and the damn gauge will only read full lean or full rich. Then I bring the laptop inside to have a look at the logs I made. realising of course that I am only looking really as without the 02 working they mean little.

Open MLV, it asks if I want to update, I say yes, and now I am fucked. Every time I try to open it now a "java virtual machine launcher" window pops up to tell me that "could not find the main class. program will exit"

Deleted and re-downloaded MLV, same problem.

Re-downloaded the whole MSPNP diyautotune software package (that includes MLV) same problem.

Noticed that the new software package includes tunerstudio and thought that may be interesting. SAME ******* PROBLEM!!

Damn thing is conspiring against me.

I have NO idea how to fix this. Any of you guys have a clue?

Nope, just tried rebooting the laptop and no change. ANy Idea what a "main class" is and why java is involved with these programs?

Try replacing your Java Virtual Machine runtime environment.

Right well getting back to my original problem then, I grounded all the lc-1 grounds straight to the ecu ground it the harness. So between my MS and the factory plug (I made an adapter leadwith the tyco plug). It would seem that this is causing a grounding problem for the 02 controller and as per the directions I should run a new ground to at or near the ecu ground post.

Anyone know where that is? Should I run it under the hoodto the block? What seems to give thebest results? My readings are all over the place, holding either high or low but never realistic figures.

Have you calibrated and set up the LC1 properly?

Yes I had. Actually it is now working. I just came in from changing the ground. I ran all the grounds for the LC1 sensor, gauge, led, and calibration button, to the bolt on the frame that the engine ground cable runs to. I also replaced that cable with a decent piece of 8 gauge audio power cable, and of course performed yet another free air calibration. Somewhere in there it fixed it. I now have real figures on the gauge. I run a couple of logs to and from work tomorrow and start tuning proper when I get home. Thanks for the input folks
