Default Hard limit at 5000RPM

I have had my turbo 99 tuned great for a while now on MS2, but moving on to an 03 with an MS3 I am having an issue. It feels like fuel is cutting at exactly 5000 RPM. Im decently familiar with the MS2, but this is my first experience with an MS3 or tuning VVT. I have the car running and idling fine on the base tune provided by the ECU builder, and sent them a datalog this morning. In the mean time, I figured I would reach out here and see if anything stood out in the tune or in the log (attached). The care is a stock (monsterflow intake, RB header, and RS2 muffler) 2003 SE.

Get your wideband working correctly. Your VE table is an absolute disaster. It looks like you tried running VEAL without a function wideband. I can't be certain without reliable AFR data but I'm betting it's choking on fuel as your VE spikes in the 5k range.

Once you have your wideband working correctly then import the VE table from a reliable basemap. Your VE table is so messed up you'll be much better off starting from scratch.

thanks for the input. i believe the wideband is functioning properly, as the gauge and TS reflect the same values (AEM unit). but i will verify calibration settings when i return to the car. I only had VEAL running for the 1.3 mile trip to work, i do see the significant spike you are referring to in that range, and will source a good table and see what happens from there

Exactly. It's impossibly flat. You have a wideband issue.
