The main thing that perplexes me is that it won't remain running after start unless I crack the throttle. I expect this with no IACV, but why does it run so rough for the first several seconds? Notice the engine go from rough to smooth at 0:44 in the video, that's not me changing anything on the throttle. Once it smooths I can let go of the throttle no problem.
What is this phenomenon?
1.6, MSPNP, 460s, deleted IACV, Walbro 190.
yeah.
I'm pretty sure that's your issue, you're more than likely too rich or lean in that spot after the car starts. You probably tuned the rest of the map in that row, but you never touched those cells in the 800-1200RPM columns cause you never hit them otherwise.

Brain, thanks for last night's tuning.
Unfortunately after dinner, got pulled over on the Dulles Toll Rd. Shut off for 5 mins...then hard starting (again). My wife said it was hard to start again this morning.

lol. how come every time I'm in the car it's perfect? In the morning it could simply be the cranking pulse widths if its taken long to start. might need to bump it up a few .1ms at the coolant temp.
