Default Honda CRV M12 IAT Ohm values

While looking for the odd-sized tap for the recommended GM open-sensor IAT that MegaSquirt recommends, I found a 97-01 Honda CRV sensor at NAPA. It is a closed-end sensor and retailed for $36 and change, but the thread pitch is a manageable M12 x 1.5 pitch.

The values for the IAT are as follows:

98 C = .154 on a 2K Ohm setting

27 C = 1.775 on a 2K Ohm setting

1 C = 6.03 on a 20K Ohm setting

As luck would have it I was able to get the intake tapped for the GM unit, but the Honda just seems like a simpler sensor to deal with mechanically.

The NAPA / ECHLIN number is TS5027

You can build your own car but can't find a 3/8 NPT tap?

Odd..

DIY even sells a bung for the AIT sensor in Aluminum or SS.

plus you really want an open element for AIT.

Sometimes I have a tendency to make things more difficult for myself. When I measured the GM threads, it came out to some funky 13/16ths thread pitch, whereby I just handed it off to Dave at Bent Motorsports...he's got more tools than me.

End result is that the GM AIT is installed, so all should be well.
