Default How to do the grounds on db37

Hi,

I have seen a picture here before, where the grounds for the db37 were wired all togehter with a kind of "clamp" - at the moment I am not able to find this pic anymore (I think it was a pic Braineack made).

How did you do the ground wiring? All the wiring to the main ground point on the car or also to the OEM ECU grounds? With a "clamp" on the DB37 or all wired with a single wire?
Pics would be great.

Thanks

It's best to ground the DB37 ground wires to the engine block using multiple ground wires.

You could probably check out the build you own megasquirt write-up...that's where I would look.

Thanks Braineack,

I was looking for the pic with a kind of big wire lead running over all the pins on the DB37 to one big ground wire...

But maybe I just wire the 2x3 wires together to one big ground wire for each of the 3 wires.

I take the 14g wire provided in the wire kit, and split the copper strands to make three points, like a trident. Stick each into 7 - 8 - 9 , then solder it all making one big blob.
