yeah, thanks for helping me out here guys.
i'm glad it's fixed and i'm glad it wasn't something stupid i did, other than burning out my ignitor which seems it actually wasn't affecting the running ability of the car but killed my tach, which is working for now.
Also sidenote, got my rx7 550cc injectors today, will ship out for cleaning monday and then when i get them back i can try to get the car running again.

took a couple weeks to get but i took everyone elses suggestion and posted a wtb add on rx7club.com, i bought them for 125 shipped, supposedly cleaned and tested but they are a bit dirty looking so i'll probably just send them out again for peace of mind
Lunatic, Look in the classy's here, I have a pair of clean 550s listed

Glad to hear this is sorted now-- as for the ignitor thing if that wasn't causing a running issue rest assured it would have any day now so it's a good thing you replaced it. Once it's been cooked enough to burn the tach full failure is imminent, often immediate-- so that probably was a factor earlier on when you were using Scott's map which wouldn't have had our overrun settings in it anyways. But at any rate I'm stoked it's sorted now and you're up and running and ready to tune man! Let us know if there's anything we can help out with along the way...

I got a set of them from RX7 club too, when I had em cleaned and flowtested they came back as actually flowing 600cc..... Nice!

I ordered some control arms from the partsgroup and the service was outstanding. I'm sure they can set you up with a new ignitor.
