Default Megasquirt died mid operation

I was driving to work just moments ago when my the car just quite literally coasted mid load. Megasquirt and AFR gauge are unresponsive (power is bussed together). Is there a fuse for the ECU normally? I cannot find it in the panel in the engine bay. The one by driver side that says 'engine' is fine as well seemingly.

30A Injector fuse died. I replaced it and it popped immediately. Buh?

Is this related to power delivered to megasquirt?

the Main Relay is powered off it and it supplies all red/white wire power. So that includes the ECU, yeah.

:(

I replaced the fuse once more after disconnecting the fab9 cops and the ecu plugs, and this time no anomaly. Plugged everything back in and now it primes and starts. But I'm curious why it blew in the first place. I'll have to check some wiring to make sure it's not intermittently grounding out somewhere. Even though the car starts again, driving this thing makes me nervous.

I did have the laptop plugged into the USB port, waiting for the coolant to warm up before a data log to work. Could a bad connection from USB cause any shenanigans?
