Misfiring megasquirt....
Well i thought it was too good to be true.
Car has started firing on two cylinders, not sure which but i've checked the harness a hundred times now, and even ordered a new harness and db37 connector.
When it happens i'd rustle the harness and it would kick back into life.
Anyway, i loaned my squirt to a friend to run in his car for a few days to see if he has any issues with it and exactly the same thing, which now leads me towards the megasquirt rather than my harness.
Anyone know of any tests to check things over? We've checked all the solder joints and all look good so we're abit stumped.
The MS was built as per the guide on here and its running standalone on my 1992 1.6 mk1.
Cheers
Mel

look on the back of the board. the resistors that you solder to the LED lights. also check the two ignition wires, make sure they're not hitting against anything inside the harness plug.
