Default MPH not logging in MLV- Help

I'm using MSPro PNP from DIY autotune on my 2002 NB and when I run a data log the MPH only shows 0 MPH but my speedometer works fine. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Your speedo is a mechanical instrument, therefore it may not be picked up by MS unless you have wheel speed sensors.

The speedo on the NB2's are electrical and the ECU gets the speed from the speedometer.

NBs are entirely electronic from the sensor out. AFAIK all 1.8s have a VSS signal to the ecu. NA's have a weird arrangement with a reed switch in the cluster.

Can't begin to help without a tune.

Do you actually have VSS enabled in your tune? Mine was disabled by default.

Here's the tune and a data log.

Thanks for the help.

No, The speedo on the dash works fine, but I set up a gauge in TS using VehicleSpeed1 and it went from 0 mph to 2 mph.

Pulses per mile should be 4000 not 40000.

You're gear detection info is almost certainly wrong as well.
