MS staying on with key off
I wired my Megasquirt like post 3 in this thread "https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t29685/".
Problem is my Megasquirt stays on at all times.
Looking at my manual it has to be caused by the Main relay.
Only info i could find on the main relay said it was the relay in the underhood fuse box.
If i pull that relay my Megasquirt is still on.
Any ideas?
Should i just wire my ms 12v to a known switched wire ?

You cant wire it into just any switched source, it has to be one that gets power while cranking.

something is really funky here and I dont see how this is possible unless someone rewired your main harness, you wired your DB37 incorrectly or your car is just possessed.

But looking at the diagram i dont see how i could have messed anything up.

yes, i have pretty much any tool needed when working on a car.
And im usually pretty good at figureing things out.
im just kinda lost on this one.
edit : looks like i can pull 12v from the blk/wht off the main relay harness to power the ecu, its hot in run and start.
That should work perfect.

well this was a really really simple fix lol.
All i did was pull the circuit opening relay. Since ive rewired my fuel pump to its own relay and supply directly from the battery i dont need that relay.
With the key off or in acc MS is off, turn it to run or cranking MS is ON. Pump primes when you turn on MS like it should.
Starts runs ect.
All good now.

hey the only thing that set me off that this was a problem was the fact that after my car sat for 8-10hrs the first crank it went really slow as it compressed like it was trying to hydro lock.
hopefully that isnt a problem any more.
Im thinking MS was holding an injector or 2 open, or the pump was priming how ever often its supposed to causing the injectors to leak over time.
