MS2 1.8 Starts, Runs, Revs. What do I do from here? Wont idle. Runs Lean.

Thanks for the input. I read that. I checked the areas it references. The timing is set to use table. The table at idle said 14 degrees. My timing light says 7. The timing gauge says 7. It's funky.
I did notice the ignition offset angle is set to three. I'm not really sure what it does, and since this is Revs basemap I'm going to more or less leave it alone for now.

Here's a better write-up from Brain, I'm not sure if this is exactly the same between MS1/2/3 and NA/NB, but I'm guessing it's somewhat similar. He also mentions calibrating the spark hardware latency as well:

From what I understand it's different on every car. So the settings Rev put might/probably aren't going to work on your car unless you're super lucky.

Nice read on that article. I checked it all, it's good. If I set it to fixed timing and read it with my light, it's 10 degrees.
I did find a problem I didn't know about before, or it has developed in the last couple days.
Cylinder 1 and Cylinder 3 have spark issues. If I look at the output with my timing light I see inconstant blinks.
Cylinder 1 sparks Blink............Blink Blink.........Blink Blink Blink......
Cylinder 2 is consistent
Cylinder 3 sparks Blink...........Blink Blink Blink.........Blink
Cylinder 4 is consistent.
I swapped cylinder 4 and cylinder 1 at the coils and cylinder 1 will read consistent and cylinder 4 with blink erratically.
Either I missed this problem, or it's new. Any ideas? Can anything in the MS2 cause this before I go buy another coilpack?

OK this was an interesting one.
My timing light has a arrow that says "this side toward plug" on the pickup.
Cyl 1 That arrow faces toward the coil it blinks steady.
Cyl 2 That arrow faces toward the plug it blinks steady
Cyl 3 That arrow faces toward the coil it blinks steady.
Cyl 4 That arrow faces toward the plug it blinks steady.
If I inverse/Opposite those configurations, it will blink erratic.
So funny. That problem I just wasted 50 bucks on and spent a couple hours tracking down was just my old pos timing light.
Why is that?
(I built the car at by buddies shop. Nice new snap-on tools!)
