Hey guys im helping a local get his miata back running its a 92 with a greddy kit, devils own water meth, a trigger wheel instead of a cam sensor and an ms2. He pulled the harness because the wiring was screwed up without labeling the ms harness, it was hardwired into the car. Now im helping him get the thing back up snd running. Im working on labeling the harness, but as im looking at the ms2 pinout located here this model has a few extras that im not quite sure what they go to. I have pins pins 3-6 in use where the guide doesnt call for anything. The guide im using http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/V3assemble.htm

The standard manual doesn't cover optional mods; those are covered in the MS2/Extra manual:

I do not see a ms2 cpu on that board.

Your best bet is to contact whomever built the MS.

No markings by builder. I'm leaning towards a diy unit. And thanks matt

That's an MS1; upgrade to MS2 or MS3.

I meant try to contact the builder to get "SKImatics" of the custom ckts. Otherwise it is going to take so much time to figure out the nonstandard ckts that you will be better off to just desolder that stuff and upgrade OR even better just build a new megasquirt.

It's like reverse engineering a Pentium 2 cpu when you could get a quad core i7.
