Default MS3 Enhanced Basic Setup Info

Hi guys,

Long time lurker here lol. I did try to search but had no luck with the below query.

So I bought an MS3 Enhanced 2nd hand and was wanting to get the base ini files (yes I know I can rip the old ones of the ECU but god knows whats on there).

All I have are some printed instructions with dead links to the .ini files :( I have messaged MS labs over FB messenger and I can see they have left me on read, double :(

So I was wondering does anyone have the base .ini files or base maps for an enhanced MS3 ??? Mine is a V1.0

Also anyone know how to check if it has a wideband controller onboard?

Lastly when I opened up the ECU I saw some interesting things:

1) An MS3 daughterboard is in there with a USB B and SD card reader... anyone know if these are functional? My idea would be to pop a large SD card in there (hopefully can be read via serial or USB) and maybe a little USB B extension.
2) There are 2 jumpers labeled Oil P and Oil T wondering if these should be jumpered if one plans to read Oil pressure and temp sensors?
3) When I check for connections in Tunerstudio a Bluetooth option pops up, I can't seem to find any info on the enhanced MS3 having this feature though. Is it onboard?

Thank a lot guys.

@Reverant any help would be appreciated, especially with any particularities in the enhanced MS3 setup.

The links work just fine, I just tested them, not sure how they don't for you.

For example: https://www.mslabs.gr/ms3_140.zip

1) Both work
2) the jumpers are pullups to 5V if you want to use either input as a temperature input (oil temp, intercooler temp, etc).
3) There's no bluetooth in the MS3.

Thanks for the prompt reply. The links somehow work for me now...

1 and 3) OK great!
2) Understood. I guess I need to jumper at least the oil temp one.

What about the wideband controller?

If using a separate wideband, should the narrowband output be fed via the stock loom and the analog wideband into the analog input on the additional DB 37?

Use the yellow wire on the DB37 to feed the wideband signal to the ecu.

@Reverant On this subject: MS3 Basic v 2.2 S/N 12616:

Does this ECU also have the capability to add / subtract jumpers and add wires to allow input for oil pressure and oil temperature? I know they were options during that time period.

Would I loose digital I/O's if I did that?

That particular ECU had 3 spare analog inputs, all with pullups by default. There's no jumper in that early ECU to set the pullups.

Reverant:

Specifically, the above is what I have. The red cells I have questions about:
3: If I use this for an AEM 30-0310 Analog O2 input low, will that negate the need for special offsets?
12: I think that is well defined, actually, as a usable spare ADC, One of the three mentioned above
16: Is that available for use as anything other than a second EGO2 input?
23: Mine did not come with a wire attached, but I understand that it will source a digital input if pulled to ground. Is it obvious in the FW?
??? (1) No wire .... is this a spare ADC, and if so, which pin, and what FW input selection?
??? (2) No wire .... is this a spare ADC, and if so, which pin, and what FW input selection?
??? (3) I presume this is already connected to the harness and is the clutch engaged switch for launch, not an additional switch for 3-step.

Kind Regards,
DNM
