PCB V2.2 vs V3.0
I want to order a kit so I can start assembly of my MS and I cant decide which to get. What is the difference between these two and is it worth the 60 dollar price difference?
I also want to get a stim so I can build and test at the same time so it would easily fall into that money saved.

Damn, seems to be a lot of other improvements. http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pcb.htm .
V2.2 is simpler to assemble then V3.0 it looks like because it has less components when you look at the pictures of the board layout.

Oh ****. I forgot to order the miata specific components from DIYAutotune.
To top that off I cant remember where to find the modification on their site. Anyone?
Also, how do I control spark on the miata with this MS? I am reading the megamanual and that seems to be a feature of the MS2 or requires the new daughter board on MS1 or can I do without it if im only aiming for 200hp?

DB37 harness I figure im going to make myself, but i'll see what happens after I put the MS together. If I am going to want to shoot myself in the foot by the end I may just buy it. I havent decided with the boomslang yet, figure ill get that after I finish assembly as well.

Guess ill order it so I don't have to dick around with the car wiring later.
Does the pull up kit include the resistors for spark mod?
edit: the shipping for the harness wire and the resistors is 7.10, :( damnit. It weighs nothing and can fit into a priority flat rate box.

Yea. Grr, kicking myself in the *** now. Though I wonder why I don't just make the cable using my own wires. I was planning to use some fat gauge wire for it as well. The labeling would be somewhat difficult but not a huge effort for me.
Braineack do you always use their cables to make your harness?
Btw, if I was to make my own boomslang, where would I buy the plugs?
edit: From a business analysis standpoint they should give you a referral code that you can give to people, or at least a forum referral code so they know where most of their business originates.

then cancel the order
i just find it extremely easy to use their colors and labels, since I'm completely a visual learner, the diagram i use only shows the colors and what spot to stick um.
you can buy the boomslang stuff at onlinecomponents.com I can get you the part numbers. total will be around $20 for the parts, however there's a $30 minimum plus shipping :(
you'll also need about 55-60' of 18awg stranded wire plus about 2-3 hours of time.
