Default PNP2 engine swap question.

Hello all, I have a 90 Miata that I just did a 96 engine swap with a Mazdaspeed6 K04 turbo. I have MSPNP2 for a 90-93 Miata. I burned the tune on megasquirt site for a 94 turbo Miata. My question is: Is this tune fine even though I have the 90-93 pcm?

I believe you want the tune for the motor you have, regardless of the original ecu. You just have to pay attention to your wiring changes needed to use the 96 tps (assuming its different than the 90-93 tps). You also want the dwell settings for whichever coils you are using. I have a 99 motor in my 93 and started with a 99 map and made the changes needed to the ignition settings to work with the 93 stuff but kept the tables from the 99 tune. Being turbo, I would think there would need to be changes made to the tables if your turbo setup is different from the one used in the map you downloaded.
