Default Problem with Spark angle suddenly dropping

Spec:MSPNP - running standard 1.8 injectors - with AEM Wideband and T25 turbo

Car was running yesterday today with the usual light drive to work. Coming home the car was really hesitant when i gave it a 1/3 throttle or any more. Got home plugged the laptop in after checking for any vacuum leaks, to discover the spark angle jumps down to -5.1 BTDC which cause the car to run awful.
When off the gas and it reverts back to the spark table values, if you drive very gently the car seem fine but i do mean very gently.
Also seem that it only kicks in around 2.5k revs and stay like it regardless of how mush throttle you give.

Doesn't seem to be based on a value from the MAP.

I've reloaded the Firmware (MS1E 10G HiRES) and loaded the map again to no effect.

any ideas will be very welcome thanks

are you sure your msq isn't corrupted? Ive seen maps suddenly put crazy *** values in the tables if there was a bad burn...

Looks like some sort of rev limiter type thing, maybe accidentally activating the launch control. If you could post your MSQ, I'll see if I can spot what it might be in the settings.

took the car out for a run at lunch time, started off with the same problem to be expected because i haven't changed any yet. anyway for some reason its now resolved it self .

while on one hand i'm happy but concerned it could happen again, any way just got home from work and all seems good.

will post the msq later.

Is there a knocksensor input? I'm with Matt, it looks like a floating input having issues.
