Default Megasquirt wideband?

A few questions to you Megasquirt experts:

What is needed to make a Megasquirt control a wideband? Or is an aux. wideband controller still needed, and just gives the info to the megasquirt. Is there really any simplification accomplished by going MS and WB at the same time?

you still need a WB controller. You'll need the WB to tune, i'm not sure what youre asking there.

Can the MS be used to log A/F ratios alongside rpm, etc.? I guess what I'd really like to know is whether an LC-1 is enough when combined with MS.

yep, it can. LC-1 is what most people use actually.

Thanks. So, what CAN'T MS do...seems like there is no reason to go to something twice as expensive. What's the catch?

It can definately be rough around the edges. Most of its features are still called experimental. Some also complain that it is not precise enough, that it just cant quite match up to stock or a high $$$ ECU like a Hydra in driveability in smoothness, although I think it can be tuned well enough that no one would notice unless you told them it was a MS running the show.
