Default TS VEAL for warmup enrichment

I think many of you here will like to try the latest alpha/beta? release of Tunerstudio which finally has a WUE analyzer. Check it out: TunerStudioMS Download

I like!
Haven't used just because it's beta, but can't wait to see
how it tries to correct my tune

A closed loop boost control autotune would be more usefull imo.

Tried it and it really does a good job. Pretty cool to let the car warm up and see it adjust the wue curve. I did have to manually adjust it a bit because it had one point were there was a big dip. Will do it over again in a couple days when it gets a bit colder.

People have been belming over this feature, and I really don't get the point.

You sit there and watch the laptop adjust the curve to hit your AFR target, OR you sit there and move the curve yourself so you hit your AFR target. And once it's done, that's it you never touch it again, unlike with VEAL where you can spend days playing around with it if you really like to mess with your tune.

I really wish Phil had spend the time creating a deadtime analyser or something.

I've used it, worked well, it fined tuned the WUEs more than I would of spent the time to do.

My one gripe is that i did it on a 60* day and it looks like anything colder than 60 now has the same value as 60*. So whenever it's cooler, I'll have to run it again to raise those values.

That is something that I would really like to have too.

I tried it, didn't see it doing a damn thing and just tuned by hand. some documentation would be nice too...too much of this lacks in the TS/MS world.

x 11ty billion

It's great the devs keep adding these new features, but none of them are being documented. So you have no idea how they're supposed to work.

Take the dashpot decay factor, see if you can find any documentation on that - there's none. I also note that the default value for that is now 0 too....

dashpot decay factor seems to be working for me...I had it set to 3 and I could watch the duty stay at 3% above the last known for a good 3 seconds slowly decaying down...now back to 1 it drops much faster. im on 1.2.1.

but like I have no freaking clue how to get WUEAL to work. I see the like AFR curve thing and I let it sit during an entire warmup and saw no suggested changes. So I was like f dat noise, ill old school this **** and just watch it warmup for 10 minutes and tune the curve by hand like a boss. ill never touch it again.

what was really annoying was when i was on b2.2.10 and the VEAL didnt work in boost...that made me sad. b2.2.11 fixed that.

Works on mine too, but there's absolutely zero documentation for it i.e. why you'd ever need it.

Quite, that's my point, you're already sitting there with the laptop watching it, so why not move the freaking curve by hand, it doesn't actually save any time or effort.

There have been some reported problems with running the warm up analyzer while update controller is checked. If it isn't working then uncheck it and burn the results after it finishes. Otherwise your wue curve could be perfect already.

I unchecked update controller. I see a filter for o2 level out of range, which may explain why no changes are being made. My are is running at 11 when I get this message. Any ideas?
